Before we get ahead of ourselves, I'd like to say "hello!" to you, all my friends and readers, whether here in Hawaii or around the world. I am so excited to share this space with you - a space for sights seen + lessons learned... but most of all, a space for
I'll be the 1st to tell you how much I love social media (especially Instagram), but I've found its limits when wanting to share about my actual life. You know what I'm talking about (those of you IG-ers)... when you got some bomb photos or a sweet grid layout, but it doesn't quite go with what's on your heart. Or knowing that what you're going through can't quite be shared in a post that can be "liked."

That's what this space is for.

Life is too precious, too thrilling, too devastating, and much too beautiful to let it be forgotten or kept under the guise of a posted snapshot.  Life is connection & that is my intention with this blog:
to create conversation, share experiences and laugh along the way, knowing that we are in it together.

As "The Happi Hapa," I can't wait to share with you all that brings me joy (travels, trends, tasty treats), but that doesn't mean I won't be posting about my journey, with whatever bumps along the way. Because let's be real.

On that note, I'd love to know who is with me on this blogging road ahead, so leave me a note to break in this new space & let me know what you think!

Think of it as a digital housewarming! (...blogwarming?)

Where are you reading from?
How'd you find me?
Tell me something good / funny / weird!

( Ok, I'll go 1st to be fair:
Yes, I am hapa - 1/2 vietnamese, 1/2 caucasian.
I speak Spanish though I'm not hispanic.
I have a MAJOR aversion to lotus pods + lobsters.
At the moment, there are figs to my right.
Nice to meet ya! )
